The Ode of Remembrance

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun, and in the morning, we will remember them.
All: We will remember them When you go home, tell them of us, and say: ‘For your tomorrow, we gave our today’.

Calling All Young Musicians

We would love to encourage any children and young people who play musical instruments in the Parish to form a small music group to play at Mass, especially for the children’s Masses. If you or your children are interested please come and talk to me after Mass to find out more. I am suggesting a minimum standard of around Grade 2.

Children's Liturgy
Please consider if you could join our team of Children’s Liturgy Catechists. Through this adapted Liturgy of the Word, children are able to grow in their knowledge and love of God at their earliest age. The team needs leaders and helpers to ensure that our children hear the Word of God and can respond with love, Training and support is given. The role is subject to the Diocesan Safeguarding Policy and so requires an Enhanced DBS check. Safeguarding training must be done. Please talk to any of the Children’s Liturgy Catechists if you require more information or email the parish office.

November- the month of Holy Souls
During the month of November, a box for the request of prayers for the souls of loved ones will be placed in front of the altar. If you would like prayers for a deceased loved one, please write their name on one of the slips of paper and place it in the box at the foot of the altar.
