The Angelus Promise is a spiritual exercise created to assist you to embrace the message of Our Lady, as expressed in the Angelus. It invites you to “share in the joy of the Annunciation” by following Mary’s openness to God’s call, through her faith-filled “yes”. Through your own faith-filled “yes”, the Lord will work wonders in your life. In preparation for this we are asked to recite the special Angelus on Saturday 28th March

I have received a number of requests from Parishioners who normally, very kindly, donate to our Parish using the envelopes when they attend Mass.

As this is no longer possible, I am being asked for our Bank account details to set up Standing Orders . In response, the details are as follows: `

Account number 00880117
Sort code 30 93 04
Name PRCDTR Sacred Heart Hook

We have been blown away by the number of people offering help for the elderly, sick and housebound and now offers of financial help for our Church and Priests, particularly when we all face a time of difficulty and uncertainty. I have always loved being a part of the Sacred Heart community and this just reinforces how wonderful our parish is!

The God Who Speaks
The God Who Speaks
Lent has taken an unexpected turn this year, and many are adjusting to living in isolation while others keep working courageously, and often heroically by looking after others. Wherever we are, we all remain in communion with God and each other through the grace of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of faith, hope and charity. To make this communion more tangible, our Formation for Mission Team and the God who Speaks national campaign are offering various initiatives which I wanted to share with you.
