A vocation is a call to the person’s destiny in life. It is a call to be who God intended us to be. This identity is discovered most fully when we meet Christ in a personal encounter and from this deep place in our nature, we find all the rest falls into place. Every human being is called to this fulness of life. This is the vocation of humanity: to know and be loved by God and in return to know and to love God.
Vocation is what God calls you to do with your life. Everybody is called by God to know, love and serve him. The difference is how each one of us does this. In the one life God gave you to live, you have one overriding purpose, to fulfil the will of God.
Fr Paul wished to share this poem of hope at a time when there is much fear in the world.

During the confirmation service on Holy Saturday when Father Paul placed his hands on my head and called the Holy Spirit down, I felt an intense connection to Christ.
What makes Lourdes so special and makes me want to return year after year is so very difficult to put into words. Lourdes is quite literally like ‘a little taste of heaven’.
